While we’re at it, I’ll mention here that eventually (within a year or so), I plan to run a game themed on The Name of the Rose . The primary reason I’m mentioning it so far in advance is to make sure folks have a chance to read it: It’s a great murder mystery, and I’d hate to spoil it for anyone.
That sounds AWESOME! I don’t know if I’d be able to play – I try to resist the temptation to get on the SDMB while at work, and since I’ve never played Mafia before it might be better to have my first game be something more basic – but I think it’s a great idea.
Hey, would anyone object if I get on line behind Mahaloth? I’ve been thinking about running a sequel to Evil Dead; I have a more elaborate rule-set under development, but that might be best served by Idle’s board.

Well, I don’t have a game fully prepped, but I have a few in early stages.
If no one else has one, I can probably get a Mafia game up and running around the end of December or so.

I don’t have one ready. I’d like to try to put together a Blazing Saddles themed game if anyone would like to help with setup and balance.

I’ve got some ideas, but I want to do some more work on theoretical balancing before I mod one again.

I actually do have a game ready, but wasn’t planning on running it due to bufftabby’s game on idle’s board. But as I am now dead, my time seems to have been liberated.
It’s not a usual game though. I’m tinkering with a game spilt over two Towns that are interconnected. If there is sufficient interest, I can run that one.

Sounds interesting but I’m definitely out until after the New Year.

I’m interested. Simpletown II was one of my favorite games.
