Oh Brownie, you're still a douchewaste!

Why not? They all voted for him twice. They would vote for him again if he were allowed to run for a third term and did.

Romney wants to DEFUND FEMA. Explain how that would have better results than what Bush did.

You wouldn’t have the FEMA Director to kick around and be able to lay all the blame on the states.

In other news, John McCain has once again suspended his campaign to address the emergency.

The gift that keeps on giving

I’ve heard this criticism as well, but I’d be curious to know what he did that was so bad at the Arabian Horse Association. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t doubt at all that he was a shitty leader and drove the organization into the ground. But what were some specific things he did during his tenure there.

Are there any swing states on the east coast? Maybe this could swing them to the good guys?

From Wiki.

Nitpick: “heck”, not “hell”.

And I think that we should talk about this a LOT…

Well, he does have somewhat of a point. It wasn’t expressed well, but still…

Sandy was a mild storm compared to Katrina, Rita, Ike, etc. However, the MSM is playing it up with all the “Frankenstorm” bullshit. They probably heaved a sigh of relief when they had something, anything, to knock Benghazi off the front page. Ghods forbid that the media should do something with integrity, like point out how Obama sat on his ass, let those people die, and then lied about it. But you can bet your bottom dollar that if McCain was in the White House, the MSM would be screaming for his public crucifixion if this had happened on his watch (which it wouldn’t have, but that’s a different issue altogether).

No matter how unpredictable the weather may get, we can always rely on Clothahump.

[redacted]

But Sandy is a hurricane that was striking some major American cities this week. That’s newsworthy.

The Benghazi attack occurred six weeks ago. It’s not front-page news anymore. At this point the only reason to still be running Benghazi stories is for political reasons.

Well, Sandy was only a Category 1 'cane . . . Nevertheless, it did synergize with a winter storm system and behave like a classic “noreaster”. In terms of property damage, Sandy is projected to be the second most expensive hurricane in American history, after Katrina. That’s more newsworthy than Benghazi.

Perhaps you can explain how McCain would have turned away the storm? Perhaps you can explain why this was a minor storm when it had the lowest pressure recorded in the area? Perhaps you could explain why it was nothing big with the largest storm surge on record in New York?
Oddly enough Obama didn’t need someone to make a DVD of storm damage to wake him up that something was happening. Chris Christie, that well known left winger, said that Obama has been doing a great job. I heard him myself last night on CNN. Not to mention that they’ve been expediting the process, for instance allowing answers to questions needed to declare NJ a disaster area to be given on the phone, not in writing as is supposed to be done.

Try to turn on the news, maybe the Weather Channel to be nonpartisan, and keep from looking stupider than usual.

Bownie needs to STFU, GTFO, and DIAF.

And NY, NJ, Conn, Mass, etc etc etc etc.

Rememer, acording to Mittens, aid is immoral anyway. Hmmmmm

False. Its storm winds tended to be a bit lower, but the topography of the East Coast meant the storm surges were often higher. In addition, while it was not as powerful in specific areas, it was a much broader storm, covering and harming a far larger area. Also, as those who paid attention to the actual reports will note, Sandy was not held out as a particularly bad storm, by itself, but was noted for the amount of damage that it would do, (and, of course, did) in conjunction with the storm front above the Great Lakes with which it collided.

Totally inaccurate depiction.
The Republican controlled House had slashed funding for the portion of the budget that provides for defense of embassies. The remaining funds were apportioned according to estimated risks and Libya, having just overthrown Ghaddafi and with an ambassador that was extremely well liked by the Libyans, did not get the highest level of protection. So far, there is no evidence that the actual number of troops assigned to the Libyan embassy was even submitted to the president for review. (Such decisions are not made in the Oval Office.)

I am afraid that you will have to go to S F or among the Freepers to get any traction with these tall tales.

roflmao!!!

To be fair to Clothahump, I think he meant that the Benghazi attack would not have happened had McCain been president. I can only assume he means that Ghaddafi would still be in power and thus Chris Stevens would not have been in Benghazi in the first place.

OH! Gotcha, thanks for the clarification. I was wondering the same thing myself.
