Oh Demeter, what hast thine daughter done to us?

Snowed like a bastard all frickin’ day long. Plus high winds, which are continuing today. Piling up drifts like you wouldn’t believe. It’s not spring here yet. Then again, it almost never is until the end of April or so.

Um, today is actually the first full day of Spring. And, really, it’s kind of nice. Sunny, fairly warm. A little breezy, but hey. Not bad, really.

So, uh…Persephone? Hon? I take back that comment about butt-kicking I made yesterday. Okay? Forgive me? Please don’t send any grubs or anything to destroy my lawn, okay?

As if anything more could be done to that forsaken, pockmarked patch of sod…

I mean, I was only sorta kidding yesterday. Persephone? You there?

Remember what you told me in that private e-mail? It’s in my sig…

You know… you’d think a day like yesterday would have been wonderful, as it’s a holiday for me and all. (I’m not gonna whine about it anymore. It’s depressing.)

I did go to celebrate the equinox and accidently set my hair on fire with one of the candles. Oy.

And here I thought Persephone was such a nice lady…

Well yesterday was wonderful. A beautiful clear day only slightly breezy and temps in the sixties. Today however is much colder, grayer, and snowing. So far we have gotten quite a bit of snow, but at least it hasn’t stuck to the roadways, yet. At least tomorrow is supposed to be back in the sixties.

God I love Colorado weather.

Listen.

If it makes anyone feel any better here, my fresh-out-of-the-Underworld fanny got snowed on today. Snow. Blowing and cold.

I’ll try to make it up to you ASAP. I promise.

Oh, what the hell. The grass is turing green here anyway, so I’ll let her off the hook this time.

 And I thought I was the princess of bad hair days!!

Persephone, just clear it up before the weekend, OK? I’m driving all the way from, well, from
<------here,
to Cranky’s and I don’t want to do it at 30 mph.

I’ll do my best, Wisest, but ONLY because I’m travelling all the way from
<-------here

to Cranky’s also! I’m lucky enough in that I found someone else to drive me, but traveling in this crap sure is no fun.

See ya there!

Melbourne Australia: early autumn, sunny day, not a cloud in sight (unusual for this town of bi-polar weather). The temp is 23 degrees Celsius has been around this all week

Just a hint of winter in the air and the leaves are starting to change. It’s cool enough to sleep comfortably at nights but not so cold that you can’t eat al fresco still.

I love autumn

You guys are talking about precipitation, aren’t you? I think I’ve heard of that - it’s where water falls right out of the sky, isn’t it? And all my friends in New Mexico have been telling me that’s just a myth.

You’re not teasing, are you? And if not, can you tell me where we can get some of that?
