Frosty, dear, color me confused, but what does Satan and Nazi Groundhogs have to do with anything? Besides, if the mods think this thread is too long, or whatever, wouldn’t they just tell us or shut it? Then we could start a OMFG2. 
While that is certainly a mod’s discretion to kill a thread so it does not kill the boards for everyone there have been threads to hit over 100 pages before suffering this fate. I believe there have been some upgrades in the last 3 years (when those threads were closed) that have allowed for longer threads to survive for a time. Some of the game threads in Mpisms are at a similar length. (Song title/word association/predict the next poster)

Well, yeah, it would be totally different, I would think. Alligator’s tongues are not extensible, so the only way to feel one on your leg would be to stick your leg in the 'gator’s mouth. Not generally considered a wise thing to do. Besides, I’m thinking part of the aardvarkian experience is the warm, furry snout from which the tongue projects.

Oh, and the PPH has arrived, complete with plume, pimp shades, and assorted bling-bling. (Have I told you you guys are awesome?) I love it, but it looks absolutely hideous on me (though I’m not sure there’s anyone it wouldn’t look hideous on). I need to figure out an outfit to go with it. Then I’ll take a photo for you guys.

OH… and as to thread length, it’s been discussed elsewhere, that usta be technology limited total thread space, so long ungainly threads made the hamsters go on vacation … but technology has been improved, and now the hamsters don’t really care how many pages are going at any given time … or more to the point, doesn’t matter much how long any given thread gets, in terms of the operation of the whole board.
(Not that the hamsters don’t still go on vacation, time-to-time, but they don’t go on strike when a thread is long.) The folks that are bitching and whining aren’t doing so for any technological reasons, they are just folks who like to bitch and moan, maybe they could ‘Pit’ our thread! Give 'em all a place to voice their attacks … and nobody here would have any need to go over to read it!!!
