I took my father and his woman friend out yesterday for lunch and to help with errands. They are both in their late 70’s and use canes to help with walking. We pulled up to the restaurant and parked and my father said, “Look out everyone. Here comes the Cane Gang.”
After all we’ve been through together I’d think it would be pretty hard to get embarrassed here!
Your dad sounds like my kind of guy. Is it just me, or is there something ironic about the fact that using a cane makes one able?

I do hope permission for that other activity I ain’t had in a while is granted at my next check-up though. Certainly would make me cheerier about the aforementioned sleep deprivation.
Ya know there ARE good things about living in Indiana, we pretty much never have to worry about wild fires. As for mud slides there’s nowhere for it to slide except into the Ohio river. Earthquakes could be a problem, ‘cause we do live on a fault, but it’s mostly just my fault…
Most of my typos are to large to cast easily, but if I HAD to cast them I think I’d use Clint Eastwood, cause they are big and bold, and hard to ignore. (BTW Is it embarrassing to misspell embarrassed? that’s why I spell check most of the time
