An update, huh? Okay, but there isn’t much to tell. Theresa is gone, but not forgotten (dammit). Sherri remains the ex-gf, who has dessert privileges, though she’s not likely to want to exercise them, because A) she now knows about Harmony, and B) well, she’s Sherri. Whether I still have dessert privileges with her, I don’t know.
Harmony…well…it’s been kinda weird, lately. She went away for the weekend, without warning, so I had no idea where she was or why she wasn’t returning my (one) voice message, or the (one) email I sent. Came home Sunday night, and called me; wanted to get together Monday, but as I mentioned, that didn’t work out. Wanted to get together, again, last night, according to her email, but again didn’t return my call. And, that’s pretty much where that stands.
Monica, the savior of the underdog, is a memory, as is “the other one” who wanted to meet (supposedly). No one new, on the horizon. I’ve not done much with Match, recently. Last time I looked, the number of views of my profile was way up there, but no further winks or emails have forthcoming.
Darn good question. One which I can’t answer, other than to say “all of them”.
But, there is no good pizza in Watertown. Was that a trick question?

As far as the dating scene - well Dave, welcome to the world of single-dom. TA-DA! I don’t know about anyone else (singles? your opinons? ) this is how it goes for me…I’ll have several potential suitors to choose from of varying degrees of maybe it’s really potential or maybe it’s nothing and byt he time I figure out what is going on then - ZIP … nada, nothing, zilch…I got nothin’…for a while…it’s kind of up and down…you know sometimes you meet people and sometimes you don’t. You just have to kind of go on about your business and be happy with yourself and develop friendships with people like us…you know we like you like you are. We are happy to see you if you are by yoursefl but if you have some cute babe on your arm that is cool too and if you disappear b/c you want to be alone with said cute babe, we understand that. that is what friends are for.
And sometimes, when you develop groups of friends like that, you end up meeting people that are date-worthy that way. Honestly that is how I meet most of the people I go out with.

I’m glad you got the ups and downs mastered. It isn’t so bad really…as crazy as mine is, I kind of enjoy it. It is better than being married at least better than it was for me.

I’m curious about something you posted in another thread…you said that once a guy turns 40 if he is single and not a total loser [sic] then he is golden dating material. Really? Hmmm…could be why Fernando is so damned confident!!! Oh and that airline pilot I was seeing for a while was about that age too and as arrogant as they come ick.
Any way I got off track of what I was going to ask you - what about women…you see, I will be 36 in umm…well only a few days so I am getting there but I pass regularly for 30. And I know there aren’t that many women that actually take care of their self at 40 - so what do you think, are women who are still attractive at 40 still pretty marketable? Or is it really that there are that many more single women than men at that age? (Gee - might mean I’ll have to just date younger men…)
On that note, I am going home gang. Have a good time tonight…I’m off to the gym so I can still look good naked at 40.
