Oh. . . my. . . God. . . it. . . WARM!

I just went outside to start my truck up to get the engine warmed up, and I looked at the thermometer - it’s 33d F!

Do you know what this means?!?!? Good Lord, we haven’t had a heat spell like this in 5 months!!

Tripler
Buried in snow, frozen solid.

Hell, I’m so ecstatic, I misspelled the “it’s” in the thread title!!

I remember one winter in college, the temps were below 0deg F for some ridiculous amount of time, and below freezing even longer. So there came a day in the mid 30s and we were all walking around with our coats open and no hats. 'Tis truly said - it’s all relative.

[sub]I won’t mention that it’s gotten into the 80s here several times this week - or maybe I will…[/sub]

it… gonna… be… WARM… dis… weekend… in… Minnesota!

And 60s early next week, I hear.

Me so estatic can’t even think straight.

7 days until spring!

<This just in>Canada is still cold!</This just in>

Cheers!

I wearing short sleeves today! Hooray for (almost) spring!

Eight days until spring, dangit! The 21st is my birthday! THAT’S the first day of spring!

Toronto forecast mentions liquid water for next week!

[sub]Still belowfreezing now though… starting to scratch at the windows… yubble… campfire… Hawai’i… zonk.[/sub]

Oh, come on, Sunspace. It was above freezing yesterday. That’s practically summer! Shorts! Barbequing!

Whee! It’s chinooking! 10 deg C forecast for today!

The perfect St Patrick’s Day is planned - grilling and Guinness starting at 9 am and going all day.

In shorts and t-shirts.

Boom, baby.

lno…

come back to Ottawa… the weather here is fine. really.

Whoohoo! It’s supposed to be 62 degrees F today! We had 2 feet of snow and 6 below F over the weekend…The water is RUNNING and streams are flooding and it’s WARM!!! Yay!

Well, true, Lissla Lissar. I was wandering around yesterday with my parka undone.

However… the Weather Network predicts a high of 13 degrees on Monday!!! w00t w00t!!

I walked to class in a t-shirt yesterday–it was 40 degrees. Of course, this being the Lower Peninsula, you know what that meant for today. Freezing rain. I love have to chip 3 millimeters of ice off my truck for 15 minutes before I can get anywhere…grrr…

Of course, it’s supposed to get up to 50 this weekend. It will be nice.

twas -22 Celcius last weekend in Clonbullogue, Co. Offaly, Eire, at an altitude of 10000 feet.
Fortunately I didn’t stay up there that long

I’ll just stay quiet.

I’ve got the air conditioner on for the first time. And it feels FANTASTIC!!!

While I’m reading this thread, the sun’s coming out. Appropriate or what??
