Oh Rapturous Joy! A toy from my Ute is back in production!

Hot Wheels Super Charger & the orange tracks are now again available to mere mortals.

I found it at Kmart by pure chance for $14.99 for the car wash super charger . The orange flat tracks with connectors are $4.99 for a set of 10.

The only place I have been able to find them is Ebay, for more money that I ever wanted to part with.
I am thinking these are just recently re-issued, but really, I don’t care.

I can now look forward to my kids denting the drywall in the basement at a high rate of super charged speed!

Can I get a SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?

Man, those things chewed through ‘D’ batteries, didn’t they?

Sizzlers are back too! Woo hoo!

The statement I made to my wife the day we closed on our home:

“Three floors, plus a basement. As soon as I find the right yard sale, I’m going to make the most basass Hot Wheels track in history”.

OMFG. Where’s my wallet! NOW! NOW!!

Hey, I forgot about that part. I wonder if there is a way to rig it up to a …I don’t know…car battery or generator so that the fun never ends.

What a brilliant stragegy on the part of toy manufacturers: bring back toys as soon as the generation which played with them is old enough to have kids of their own. Memory is the best advertisement they could have.

So did you ever?

Unfortunately, my Utes are not.

Just two days ago, I saw a commercial for the Criss Cross Crash set. I haven’t seen that in quite a while.

I had three of those when I was a kid. I would set up the track and figure out where the hotwheels would start to slow down and put one of those at that spot, then do the same with the other two and have one huge track with about 8 cars all going around. It was great!

As soon as we found out we were having a son, my husband started buying up Hot Wheels and Legos. I had to have the talk with him about buying toys for Christmas that our son would like, not just things my husband wants to play with. If he wants that toy, he can put it on his own list

We also bought a battery charger and some rechargeable batteries soon after our son was born. A little more money for the rechargeable batteries but soon it saves tons o cash and the frustration of not having batteries around. Ours only does A’s and AA’s though, are you saying I should look for one that will charge D’s before the Hot Wheels get into big use?

Still haven’t found that yard sale. Our spending cash is pretty limited, so I’m not about to go buying all the track I need at Target. But somewhere out there is a lady with 3,000 feet of track (and several hundred purple connectors) that she’s looking to unload for ten bucks. And damnit, I’m going to find her…

Oh, yes… this reintroduction is A Good Thing.

So when are the Creepel People coming back?? Us wants them!
