Oh,yeah--attitude makes me work harder!

you stupid, stupid people.

Setup:
I work as a rental controller for an insurance company. That means when people get in accidents and the adjusters need to put them in rentals, I take their information and send to the actual rental people. I’m the middle man. I send the reservations for Monday rentals about Wed or Thurs, depending how much work I have and then the rental office calls the customer directly to set up the appointment.

This Monday morning, there’s a call waiting for me from a customer saying they never received a call from the rental company and her husband is taking their car to the body shop at 8:30 this morning, and “there’d better be a rental car waiting” for them when they get there. Then received another call from someone. Don’t know who coz they DIDN’T LEAVE A NAME OR NUMBER TO CALL THEM BACK!!! saying they’re taking their car in this morning but haven’t heard anything from the rental office, so “C’mon, Daniel, let’s get on the ball.” I can only imagine this is the husband of the woman who called earlier but I’ll never know!

You twit. That’s right, give me some attitude and a vague threat, that’ll make me work harder for you. Yes, I did tell you to call me if you had a question or problem, but there’s still only so much I can do and your message was hardly motivational. I tried to get ahold of you again and left the phone number for you to call, I called the office your reservation went to, and they’ve left messages for you as well. We’ve done everything we can do, so don’t even THINK of trying to bully me! I’m surrounded by insurance claims adjusters all day, so I’m pretty familiar how to give it right back. Here’s another little tip: if you really want to help, LEAVE YOUR NAME, BEAVIS!!! I’m sorry that I can’t identify you by voice!!!
