Well the book (“If I Did It”) was announced in November, 2006, with resulting controversy, and the Law & Order episode about the book aired in February, 2007. So I’m guessing we’ll see an episode about this latest development by December.

I think every cop, judge, and prosecutor in this case is going to bend over backwards to show how VERY FAIR they are in NOT JUDGING MR. SIMPSON for his alleged past crimes, and as a consequence softball him.
Everyone thinks he is going to get a royal screwing because he got away with murder (allegedly). Don’t you think his lawyer is looking for anything at all, up to and including O.J.'s breakfast eggs being slightly runny as evidence that the justice system hates him?
And who wants to be the Mark Fuhrman in this case? NOBODY. My bet is that O.J. cuts a deal for no jail time… any takers?

A pint of Sierra Nevada says he does at least a year. The case seems solid so far, and there is no race card to play, no outrage about a “beloved sports figure getting railroad by The Man.” Now it’s just a person everybody knows is a killer getting popped for armed robbery. Nobody will come to his defense, no matter how blatant the shafting he gets.
