I’m typing with a paper bag over my head because I’m so embarrassed to be hooked on this show.
Ahem.
I think Firestone man isn’t good looking but I don’t know why. There’s just something about him. I also really disliked his “interview” with the host (Chris).
Anyone else willing to admit they watch this garbage?
It was interesting to see the women being so goofy as the limo pulled up – when they come out they’re always so refined. (I’m sure it works the same way when the genders are flopped, too.)
As to this Firestone chap, he seems alright – it’s tough to judge until you see him interact with the women. Mostly I enjoy rooting against the psychos. (And on that score there’s at least one prospect so far.)
Ok. What about the woman who was (almost bawling) and saying that she just wanted to wear a wedding dress and have her father walk her down the aisle (even if she wasn’t really getting married). That was a little odd.
Oh yeah, I’m looking forward to seeing more of her. That way, when they have the “Where Are They Now” special, they’ll have a segment on her where she rather unconvincingly proclaims that she’s not a psycho. Honest. See, here’s a friend of mine (well, cow-orker), and she says so.
Am I the only one still watching? (Wouldn’t be surprised. sigh.)
I was glad Liz got booted – though it would have been fun to see her go totally psycho is she had gotten a little further. “I don’t have any feelings left! Not a single feeling! I gave all my feelings to him!”
And Tina Fabulous – what a witch! And the lovely Andrew apparently digs it – she’s still right in there.
The others – can’t tell 'em apart. Except for that whiny “I don’t do group dates” chick – um, have you ever seen this show before?
Last night’s episode was incredibly painful because I dreaded poor Liz’s inevitable devastation. But I heard her on my local radio station this morning and she seemed OK.
Kirsten’s going all the way – it’s clear he’s head over heels for her, and as of this episode, it looks like she feels the same way.
I like Andrew Firestone. He seems to know what he wants. Instead of catering to the producers or going through the motions to appear PC, he is being very decisive with his invitations to the individual dates and with his rose ceremonies.
It seems to me he is taking the process very seriously and putting more thought into it than the previous Bachelors.
I think Andrew is all right.
Christina… ohhhhh Christina PSYCHO… She scares the heck out of me. I can’t believe he kept her last night, he is getting into trouble, she is the kind that will stalk him after the show is over (and she isn’t “the one”)
I think Jen might be a dark horse to win it all. Or at least make it to the final two. These shows always edit to try to make it surprising at the end.
I dunno. It really seems like AF has already made his choice (Kirsten). But, after four episodes, I can say that he does seem like a quality guy, especially when compared to weirdo Alex and “Solid Gold” Aaron.
Of course, that fact may be why he’s awful in a show like this. He’s so damn polite that I think he’s misleading people all over the place. What the hell is the deal with him always clarifying: “You mean our children…”? To his credit, it seems like he’s not used to dating multiple women at one time and probably wanted to end the whole thing after one night of drooling over Kirsten.
And yes, Christina is scary. Aside from being stuck in the 70’s, she seems to be stuck in the 70’s. I think the producers begged him to keep her for dramatic effect.
