Obama 289
McCain 249

McCain wins FL, NC, VA, and CO; Obama wins PA (duh), OH, NM, and NV.

I like to make “I’d be happy to be proved wrong” predictions.

Based on late polls especially Gallup I am predicting a big win in the popular vote:around 9-10 points

Obama: 53%
McCain: 44%

In the EV I am assuming that Obama’s ground game will deliver almost every state where he is tied or better:
Kerry + Iowa, New Mexico, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Ohio, Florida, North Carolina, Missouri

Obama: 364
McCain: 174

Assuming that NC finally gets called, Lantern wins! Even Obama’s percentage right.

Me, I am disappointed that Hispanics didn’t come out more but find some solace in the facts that Harris and Dallas counties are blue, as is Austin. I also was at least right on record absolute number of voters both overall and for a single candidate ever. link

Not so fast there. Missouri hasn’t been called yet. If Missouri and North Carolina go to Obama, then I’ll be right. Not on the popular vote though. Missed that one by a mile.

I know MSNBC called Missouri, but they’re the only ones. I’m keeping hope alive.
