Mine is, I think, a Molson commercial…thousands of people rushing to dramatic music to make the logo…I think…dang, it sucks to get old…
Bumped.
I love this new FedEx one with New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees - very funny: - YouTube
Love the sloth playing Pictionary - not even sure what it’s for…insurance?
The one where the nosey neighbor wants to see the new neighbors house. New neighbor says “that’s sounds intrusive” neighbor says “I smell onions”. I think it’s another insurance commercial.
All of the Subaru commercials with dogs.
Oh and all of the Budweiser Clydesdale commercials.
Funny were Wear the fox hat, Alien wassup, careerBuilder hey dummy, zazoo condom, and Drew Brees FedEx.
German Engineering vs Terrorist — a good one that’d never see air time here. Right?
Classics: Apple 1984, Coke and Mean Joe Greene, Discovery Channel’s boom-de-yay,
Here are a few favorites.

Wait - three pages of posts, starting 9 years ago and no mention of*Aaron Burr?*
^^ This one for sure! It points out how easily we’re programmed away from any critical thinking. So unexpected, yet incontrovertible. The sad piano music is always sad isn’t it? They even use it in journalistic pieces now to ensure viewers are interpreting what’s presented in the correct way.
Here’s another great example: Alan Greenspan claims Ayn Rand is his favorite author and nobody even cracks a smile, but we can all agree Goth is a ridiculous adolescent phase, can’t we? All except Dad, because Dad’s seen some shit.
SNAUSAGES!
Something about that voice and delivery.
Followed closely by Liv-a-snaps.
Here’s Liv-a-Snaps:
The Hershey’s Kisses handbells playing “We Wish You a Merry Christmas.” Hershey's Kisses Christmas Commercial - YouTube
THIS brilliant Alka-Seltzer commercial from 1970. I think it won a CLEO.
This one gets me every time. It’s a PSA for organ donation.
That’s been all over TV the past few weeks. I’ve always kinda wondered if the people who made it matched particular notes to particular bells/kisses, or if anyone has analyzed it to see if the notes and kisses match up.
And if you listen very carefully, they’re playing the music from the beginning of Up. It’s like they want everyone to burst into tears.
This one for Guinness is top quality.
“And the fat drummer hit the beat with all of his heart…”
I like this one for jeans - can’t beat Marvin Gaye (and this takeoff of the original.)
I posted this one in other threads about commercials, but maybe some of you haven’t seen it.
