:frowning: What a shame. They went down about 45 miles from Little Rock in clear weather.

Another terrible tragic plane crash for Okie State as OkSU lost several players and coaches in a plane crash about 10 yrs ago.

Incredibly bad two weeks for college sports. Penn St, and now Syracuse allegations and this plane crash.

Yeah.

I’m going to miss them. I was a Freshman just as the program started to turn around, and Budke really appreciated the student support. He sent us pizza when we camped for women’s games and had that amazing orange blazer. Serna came and said thanks to the front row guys in the student section nearly every game during warmups. Campus is quiet today. Canceled the women’s basketball and wrestling matches this weekend. I hope that we pack our soccer stadium tonight for our tournament game, one of the assistant coaches lost her husband in the crash ten years ago.

I wish I hadn’t missed the games at the start of the season. :frowning:

Moral of the story: OK State shouldn’t travel by plane.

Fuck off.

I’m sorry for your loss, but you can’t tell people to fuck off here.

etv78 - I say this as advice, not a formal instruction - in the future you might want to think twice about making a joke like that right after someone who knew the deceased posts a heartfelt personal remembrance.

Apologies. Wasn’t thinking about the forum. I was out of line.

Darth-Sorry I was unaware of your ties to the tragedy. Apologies for the macabre humor.

A hunter witnessed the crash, called 911, and lead rescuers to the site. He said the engine sounded like it was having trouble.
