Jolene has to go to the vet for a recheck on her UTI and I’m officially changing her name then. The George of the Jungle and Bella thing was only amusing to me, nobody else got it anyhow. Everyone gets Jolene.
Heck, once cousin and hubby had settled down in the living room, Jolene totally ignored Linda to zero in on Ronald. I could tell she wanted to claim another man!!!
Welcome back! I also love the little free libraries. I don’t often take a book, but I always look to see what they have. There was one at the Harley dealership in AZ that always had at least one copy of “The art of Zen and Motorcycle Repair”.
I haven’t gotten my library card here…it’s complicated and I am lazy, so I’ve been downloading books AZ. I feel like I shouldn’t be borrowing any of their popular stuff because I’m no longer paying taxes for them, so I’m re-reading some of my old favorites.
It can be shocking to read Isaac Asimov and contemporaries with my current eyes, that casual racism and sexism was so normal back then that I didn’t know that it was objectionable.
When things become normalized, it is hard for people to change. Children believe stronger than adults.

I’m good with feeding suet only. So far. I might change my mind later once I figure out what the local birds eat. And the flying squirrels. I seriously want to sit on our porch in the evenings and watch them swooping around.
The hummers have been enjoying their feeder and Jolene likes sitting at the french doors to watch them. For about 30 seconds because she is a teenager and has the attention span of a goldfish.

LOL!!! you are so right, we were pretty committed to getting a different cat and even went through the pre-adoption approval paperwork. While we were visiting the cat we had picked, she purred at me and then purred at Hubs. Whatca gonna do?
No. It is still way to hot to iron. You should probably throw your iron away and pay someone else to do it forevermore.

Would meltdowns happen if you just moved things into your unused art room space? I hope he gets things sorted soon, I hate living in a cluttered, unorganized room and I’m constantly fussing at it until I get it right.
