Morning all. The NY Times for Sunday has been obtained along with a few this and that items. it’s aboe freezing (36F) right now and heading into the 50’s. Outside of my meatloaf dinner at the Metro Cafe a bit later, will probably stay inside and watch the tackleball games.
Would have sworn I posted something last evening but there is no sign of it, so I will soldier through the 35 or so messages since my last one.
It is, but the guy in charge (his nickname–which he chose–is ‘Mad Bob’) somehow manages it and gets the kids to (mostly) do what he asks…it would drive me crazy inside of 30 minutes, but he loves doing it.
So far I have been with the same Dentist for nearly 15 years and don’t thing I’ve ever run into the problems others have. Hope she keeps practicing…

Cupcakes, I lived in a Muslim country (United Arab Emirates) for 4 years, and the Subways and other samdwich shops offered something called ‘beef ham’ or ‘beef bacon’, which tasted, almost, but not quite, totally unlike ham. And there was 1-2 stores in town that had a ‘special’ section for non-Muslims where we could get pork/ham/bacon. But it was still a long 4 years…
Story of my life these days. After a certain age things just decide to ache for no apparent reason.
