(Old) Another English Autumnal MMP

Well, that certainly didn’t sound like a fun adventure to me. I’m so sorry things got so stressful, but happy that things got worked out somewhat.

Are you closer to work? Is it quiet? Are there dawg walking places? I currently have a side by side fridge and want to warn you that stuff pushed into the back is much more invisible than in a top and bottom fridge or freezer. You still have the same amount of room but stuff gets overlooked.

Leftovers? GG doesn’t leave any leftovers, poor Jolene is lucky to get a rub or two before it is all gone.

Happy Sunday!

Nice morning, but I forgot to set the alarm and overslept.
I had a horrible pain in my side too. I usually sleep on my left side, last night I slept on my right side. I was afraid it might be my gall bladder, but once I was up and moving around for an hour or so, the pain went away.

My son got part of the back yard mowed. I knew he should have started sooner and gave himself more time. The mower was still cutting out, then he remembered to raise it. I meant to tell him that and forgot. I think we need to take it to a shop anyway.
I saw a nice mower, remote controlled, that is good for high grass and weedy yards. It’s just under $3000.

A bit more mower than we need, I think.

I appreciate the neighbor mowing for us. He didn’t know our mower was not working, he just figured since he was mowing his yard, he’d come over and do ours. I told my son we should bake him some cookies.
We didn’t today, but we will.

Hope you get the AC fixed soon, MetalMouse

MY sinuses have been a bit of a pain too Swampy.
I was going through some stuff today, looking for something else, and found a mask that can be heated in the microwave for sinus pain.
It’s been almost a year here and I still can’t find stuff and have boxes in the back room.

I had my email cleaned out and now it’s back in the 100s, but most of it is spam that google isn’t catching, and most of it is for my mother.

My son goes back to irk tomorrow and I hate that he is irking Moondays. Moonday was the dogs go to daycare day and we run around to get stuff done day. Moving that to Friday feels wrong.

I hope Bailey feels better soon, Ooopsie

Welcome back, Shoe. It sounds like a fun time.

B/H mom takes her dogs into all kinds of stores. BB&B, and I think Pier One when it was still open. She also takes them into the hospital lobby while her MIL is getting chemo. She walks them in the parking lot, but if she needs the restroom she walks right in with the dogs. I’ve seen people take small dogs into the grocery store. CVS let me bring Ripple in when their drive thru wasn’t irking. I was uncomfortable though. That was when Ripple was still shy and I was afraid he’d snap at somebody it they tried to pet him.
Misiu likes to stand with his front paws on the console whenever we go through a drive thru. Everybody comments on how big he is. He really isn’t, he just looks that way because he is on the console and his head is big in proportion to the rest of his body.

Shar Pei can swim, but they sure don’t like it.
Except for a FB poster who lives in Georgia the country. Her? three Pei love to swim.

The clax cart is cool! I don’t know what I’d use it for, but it is cool.
I’m glad you are over the plague, Rocky.

I’d love some ribs.

I like pineapple upside down cake okay, as long as somebody else will take my pineapple ring and cherry. I don’t like cooked pineapple.

I have to catch up with Friend A and Friend B. I think they may be talking again, but they needed to to clean up some loose ends.
Friend A had been very busy with out of town guests, and skin cancer. Which I guess was pretty bad, and her arm had to be bandaged from her wrist to past her elbow, and she was supposed to keep her arm elevated at all times and not use it to lift anything. She had to go back in a week to have the bandage removed, the site cleaned, and then rebandaged. Then go back in another week to have it checked. She has had a lot of skin cancer removed, but never anything like this.

I cleansed, laundered, watched pro handegg(with angina!), and took out the trash and recycling.

The Peter Principle in action.

Junkie!

Always get it in writing. But glad you managed to squeak through everything.

If you don’t have a basement, where do you put your Pittsburgh potty? :toilet:

Here’s Bob in front of the fake fireplace. I was trying to get a picture with a blue flame behind him but it’s all pretty much glare. Here’s Bob, though.
(I took some really neato pictures of my view, but then I realized you could pretty much pinpoint my location to the foot from them)

Well it’s not a huge amount of seeds but I can send part of them, I’m saving the rest to plant a few. and the rest will be going to a friend who wants to plant a pumpkin patch next year, If I buy any more pumpkins I can send their seeds. When I was a kid we roasted them but I don’t eat them now.

Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to heave.

Hi Bob! < skritches >

Aw, dude, I was joking!

There’s a “that’s what she said” joke in there, I just know there must be!

Did it help?

Hi, Bob!

Nice fireplace.

They’re not mine, mine aren’t that fancy! That’s just a random pic from an online
tap shop. I also have a rubber plug on a chain.
Mixer taps and mechanical plug thingies are a lot more common these days.

Just concrete fortunately… it’s “out the back” so not too urgent. I really think
i should replace the carpet with lino or tiles. Or just leave the bare concrete.
