Misnomer, you and my maternal grandmother would have got along. She was never to my knowledge a poll worker but she thought voting was important, all the elections, not just presidential. She started voting in 1928 and her last election was in 2012 just shy of her 108th birthday,
I am recovering this evening from a fog of calories. Friday, Saturday and today a lot of family has been gathered for a reunion, and as with many family events there is food. Today was the big potluck. There were all ages, from ninety to a baby girl born in April. I ate WAY too much, and the coming week I will do my best to get my carbs and calories back under control I made a peach pie with a streusel topping, and a chocolate pie with whipped cream. The chocolate pudding filling is a recipe from that same grandmother I already mentioned and is not hard to make. It is cooked but no eggs.
