(Old) Be-Labor-ing a Point. An End of (Meteorological) Summer MMP

JtC Wish I had known about those diabetic socks 10+ yrs ago. Mom hated socks that were snug at the top so she never wore the Smartwool merino socks that I bought for her. Good to know for the future.

I’m so happy for you. At first when your Hubs mentioned WV as a possible landing place, you really weren’t very enthused about it, AFAIR you were not on board at all. But it seems that things are working out very well. You have beautiful scenery, relatives that seem very friendly, a young relative that you are sharing your beloved needlework skills with, better weather (rain that actually makes a difference and not so gosh darn hot; I’m sure you’ll enjoy having 4 seasons again), better altitude for baking/cooking and a lot of good skilled workmen. I hope you’re able to find a Tai Chi class that works for you.

A former friend that I have recently reconnected with wants to get back involved with Tai Chi; apparently she used to take classes. Right now she’s in Africa on safari but when she returns we both want to take some Tai Chi classes. I’ve googled and found some possibilities.

I worked 4 hrs then walked back home. Filtered about 4 gallons of water. Had planned to make a kind of shepherd’s pie using ground turkey but was kinda tired. Hubs suggested Stouffer’s lasagna which we had 3 boxes of in the freezer. So, popped one into the microwave for 10 minutes then the oven for 25. Soo yum. Also had asparagus and broccoli slaw.

Watched the men’s US Open on dvr. Jannik Sinner, Italian, beat Taylor Fritz, American, in 3 sets. Taylor had his chances but it wasn’t to be.

I think I’m going to go workout on our NuStep then hit the hay.

'night all. :kissing_heart:
