Lovely horse!
I cleaned dusted and vacuumed. I took out the trash and recycling. Panther beat the Eagles.

Me: “Those are people, not prey.”
Spot: “That sounds like something prey would say.”

And love the Lego Abby. I got the Lego calendar in the mail yesterday. Makes me fell like it was 1979 all over again.

This is why I’ve been procrastinating about filling mine out.
Good job in getting yours filled out and delivered!
How about
Summary
Hey AssHole, STFU
the Spartans say HOLD OUR BEER. We’ll likely go 2-10 this year.
I googled. CVS and Target are shown to have it.
It was 1979, the day after the Iranians took over the embassy. And yes, I use it everytime I go out of town and will be away on the weekend. I’ve even donated to them.
I love the Downtons Abbey with the staff and cast in front; great job!
wet one Ariel is beautiful. Thanks to you and 52 for sharing.
I’ve mostly been RDOSing today. Hubs then tried to show me what to do with the humidity level and the furnace for winter. Had trouble with getting the combs between the filter folds then more trouble with getting the frame closed. Should have worn a mask. Came upstairs and typed out the directions into a Word document. Now need to get ready for church.
Probably see you tomorrow on new MMP.
I survived Walmart and beat the worst of the unwashed horde. I also had to log into work for a couple of hours but hopefully that’s taken care of and uneventful until tomorrow. Now I need to pull my car out of the garage so I can do Sunday laundry. I don’t know why I find having to back the car out so annoying - probably looking for any excuse to put off laundry!
Oopsie that Downton Abby set is beautiful! Also, I hope your uncle is able to recover his ring - I’ve seen one before, and they really are something else.
Okay this cracked me up! I hope your neighbors eventually return in the same car they left in!
Nellie I hate nights like that where you can’t shake a bad dream.
Alright enough procrastinating… Off to start those Sunday evening chores.
Not only is Ariel, the prettiest horse in the world, she is also my goodest girl. My goodest outdoor girl because Ursula is my goodest indoor girl.
Patti and I went to a craft fair today. We met a woman who gives needle felting classes and the classes are in my town. We are both excited about learning this new craft.
Thank you, that is now my plan. There are still three flower buds that I am hoping will bloom. I didn’t know what Dahlias were before moving here so I’m sure I will make plenty of mistakes with them. (Well, I knew that they were flowers that didn’t grow in the desert but that’s about it.)
Instagram has put out an announcement saying that it was a mistake and some automated process did it. I’ve also learned that there were over 3000 protests/early voting rallies across the country.
While I was so sick, I wanted Campbells chicken noodle soup. Hubs brought home Homestyle chicken noodle soup which was not the same. He went back to the store and came home with the skinny noodle kind, which also wasn’t the same. He finally found the original stuff and we have 5 cans in the pantry.
I only eat it when I’m sick so hopefully it will be there for a very long time.
That sounds so fun! I do enjoy seeing the robins poking around our lawn, I should get some mealworms for them too.
I’ve heard that dogs also lie at times. Did she need to go or was she wanting to go for a nice run again?
You are a very kind person. I do hope they are able to find their way back home.
She is indeed beautiful! Thanks for sharing ![]()
She loved knowing that you were happy enough to sing ![]()
Yeah! Bastids!!!
I’ve seen some amazingly lifelike dogs and cats, that does look like it would be fun to learn. Please tell us how the classes go.
So my tree is now inside. I’ll try to remember to get a pic tomorrow so I can see how I did over the winter. It can live in front of my french doors and I’ve got a couple of large full spectrum grow lights for it. I think its about as big as its going to get so I should probably start pruning it into a nice round ball instead of stems sticking out all over. It would be wonderful to get flowers and maybe even a lemon, but I"m sure that is just a wistful daydream.
I don’t know if you folks remember me talking about James? Lovecraft fan who lived in the state run nursing home? I went to see him today and he was back on oxygen. He’s not doing well and says he’s tired and wants to see his wife again. I’ll miss him when he’s gone ![]()
Well, that’s about it for tonight. I want to finish up the section I’m stitching and get my threads pulled and started for tomorrow. Needlepoint is just wonderful for my CDO, its the one part of my life that I can fully control.
Evening all. Been a rather…interesting…day. Got a message from the Soccer Commissioner for our region that there was a letter for me at the Main recreation building, so I stopped there this morning to pick it up, having no idea what it was.
It was legal paperwork. I’m being sued.
Well, it’s the soccer organization they’re after, but I was the ‘agent’ so I got the paperwork. But in June at a soccer tournament, I was driving a golf cart to transport people and a couple of older ladies got bounced out of the back when the cart lurched forward a bit. They were quickly helped (medical folks were on-duty at the tournament) and got up and walked to the field. I stopped by later to apologize some more, they seemed fine and not in any pain, but now they are claiming a ‘collision’ and major harm. I’ve reported this to the AYSO authorities and scanned and sent the paperwork I received to them, so hopefully they will handle it, but it did shake me up for much of the day.
Other than that, a pretty routine Sunday…And Chili’s Sirloin steak is mediocre and overpriced, so they are off the list. Maybe see what Applebees is like..
Nut, I have a Facebook friend raising a baby squirrel, and you making best buds with a robin goes right along with it. Hope it works out for the both of you.
red, while your neighbors goals may be laudable, the chaos he is causing folks is not, I would certainly mention it to the management.
Oopsie, haven’t turned the heat on yet, but it’s getting closer to the time to drag the heavyweight comforter out of storage and onto the bed. And great story about Uncle R, that’s quite a career he carved out. Wonder if he could call the Nationals and ask for a duplicate ring, with his career they would probably agree to it. ANd some wonderful Lego projects!
J-Bats, glad you could help the neighbors, I still sometimes press the wrong button for shifting and to turn the engine on/off, but I’m getting better at it.
52, wet one, thanks for the collaboration and great pic!
nellie, thanks (I think) for having me in the dream. Believe me, that story did hit me, the field I refereed at last night has cars parking right next to it with only a wooden-rail fence between us and them.
So say I too.
Flyboy, amazing how things that should be helping us can nickle-and-dime us to death sometimes. Good luck on your complaint.
JtC, I usually have one can a week, about 8-10 in the cupboard, so well-stocked. Hope you don’t need it anytime soon. And a melanchony {{hug}} for James, may his time be his choosing and the event peaceful when it happens.
And that’s enough for this week. Catch y’all on the next MMP.
I’m sorry to hear that. Hugs to you both.
Have fun with your new craft, wet one.
I played around and made a little note card and a St. Patrick’s day card,
See y’all tomorrow!
Woohoo! Tomorrow I’m getting an electric skillet that I saw on FB Marketplace. Used once, only $25, and she’ll meet me at the WaWa 3 miles down the road. SCORE
So I got that going for me. ![]()
Sorry, JtC.
The mouse (and corkscrew pumpkin stem) is especially adorable!
Thank you so much for sharing!
I’d rather not get fired, but I DO know a few foreign languages that are gonna get the dust shaken offa them soon.
Incidentally, I gave Grandma Co-worker a lift home, and apropos of nothing she made a crack about “Lil Miss Hoity-Toity” so it felt good to know it isn’t just me.
I did get “volunteered” into dish duty tonight, but at least it kept me away from the other not-so-awesome co-worker for a while. Plus we were absolutely DEAD slow towards the end of the night, so things got organized & brought back around more quickly than usual … fast close.
Okay, I’ve mostly nibbled today, so I need to arrange myself some sort of deeply filling dinner. G’night!
Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. Off to heave. It’s 43 degrees Ferret Height(6.111 Centipedes outside).
Poo.
JtC, sorry about James.
She is beautiful!
