(Old) Highlight of the day - Dyeing in the MMP

Metalmouse: hope the train museum and weather is going well.

FCM:

Q: When a happy couple goes out for a romantic Anniversary dinner and are back by 6pm, what do we call them?
A: Parents.

Seriously, congrats to them both for a good marriage and the resulting fine offspring. All of which gets you an extra grandkids day, or at least afternoon. So hooray for that too! Assuming you survive the onslaught of concentrated kidly energy.

Nettie: Good luck w heat, smoke, and fire.

Whoops; there goes my chance at MMPer romance after CFV flaked.

So Oopsie: How did you keep Bailey from making mischief out of your half-unpacked Lego extravaganza?

Yaay susan! Nice to receive some affirmation from folks in the know.

If you stay up late or get up early it can be whatever you want it to be. :hint::hint:

As to me …

Now 3pm on a rather blah day. After last report I got sheveled and then tackled breakfast as the clouds were breaking up. So I did indeed have albuminatin’ blackberrified balconatin’ baconatin’ while chaisin’ n’ loungin’ with ‘materific squeezin’s, toasttasticly meltiferous butterificated bread, n’ runny sunny yolkisms. While wearing shades and not much more’n a smile. 'Twas yummy & silly at the same time.

Then the clouds coalesced and it started to sprinkle again and I was promptly chased indoors. At least I got while the gittin’ was (briefly) good.

And now 5 hours later it has been nothing but gray and dripping or raining the whole time. An occasional rumble is heard even now, but nothing fierce or immediately nearby.

Which rain did support a very nice long and much-welcomed nap around noon. Ref FCM’s day, this is definitely not mowing weather.

:musical_score: :notes: It’s summer time and the RDOSin’ is easy :musical_note:

Cheers all!!

ETA: Good luck Shoe; all of the mitten state is counting on you to feed them!
