I thought we dealt with this canard the other day. Lots of beachfront property on Lake Okoboji, in Iowa. Huge fresh water lake, sandy beaches, party central (I was never allowed to go there when I was growing up in Iowa). Lake Okoboji is the Midwest’s Padre Island. Nebraska has a huge freshwater lake Lake McConnaughy, also with sandy beaches. Lots of others of course but both of them are huge.
Y’all piqued my interest, I just got back from opening up Netflix and putting da Dallas Cheerleaders on My List. Some particularly empty headed night I’ll roll the film and get back to yah.
