While playing yesterday’s NY Times Spelling Bee, I couldn’t resist trying the following:

It is too a word!!
In other news, Cheryl’s bakery makes really good sugar-free stuff: it’s pricey, so I only splurge a few times a year, but I like to bring some to the jazz festival because (a) they’re individually packaged (and therefore super easy to carry around in a tote bag) and (b) the snack options at the hotel are pretty limited. I recently ordered a big box o’ goodies that was supposed to get delivered next week, just before I head to the festival, with the idea that I’d share…but it got delivered early/today! I may or may not have just eaten a sugar-free brownie. There’s no telling how much of the box will make it to this time next week…
(Last year’s delivery was late, and I wound up leaving the festival and making a 1-hour round trip to grab the box off my front step before it could get stolen/soggy. Early is better!)
Today has probably been the least stressful/annoying day of the week, but I’m still looking forward to quittin’ time. My Aeron desk chair is the most comfortable thing I’ve ever owned, but right now I’m tired of sitting in it/being in this room.
I live alone and hardly ever use my kitchen table: when it isn’t decorated for Christmas, I pretty much only use it when I’m putting Lego sets together. So I could keep a puzzle out/in progress for as long as I want.
How expensive Legos are depends entirely on what you buy: set prices range from $4 to $850. Stuff for little kids is cheaper than stuff for big kids.
So far, the cheapest set I’ve bought was $40 and the most expensive was $230; in the past year I’ve spent close to $1000. The sets currently on my wish list are $150, $250, and $400.
I know absolutely nothing about counterfeit Legos/that market, sorry.
LOL!
OMG I love that…if I ever start performing again, you can bet it’s going in my promotional materials with the other quotes!
I pay $31/month for their “All Access” service. Pricey, but it’s mostly all I listen to in the car – and when I’m in the office – so it’s worth it to me.
Sounds a lot like my “nontechnical project manager” position, only a grade or two higher.
In 1994, there were about six months when I shared a house with a bunch of friends. I quickly discovered/realized that I’m much happier living alone, but I do miss the random conversations…and knowing that if I felt like being social, all I needed to do was leave my room and head downstairs.
That is really cute!
Oh man…you’ll be missed.
That’s pretty evil.
I hope the process continues to be without additional pain. When my folks got divorced – in Maryland, in the mid '80s – they had to be separated for a year first: does your state require anything like that?
