Hello and happy whatever-day-it-is-when-you-read-this.If you’re bored with my floor saga, skip the next paragraph. It’s actually good-ish news, though.
I spent a chunk of today toiling on the floor. Then I remembered reading not to use ammonia on vinyl floors because it can damage them. I decided WTH and used it diluted with some water and dishwashing liquid. With an SOS pad, it worked the best out of all the methods I tried. 99% of the wax is now gone…from the kitchen floor. I have to decide what to do about the hallway, dining area, and bathroom.
Question: now what? I thought I’d buy some Mop-and-Glo because they used to advertise that it cleans as it shines. Turns out A) It’s not in stores and B) it builds up and has to be stripped. I have Bona floor polish, which supposedly comes off without too much trouble with their polish remover. I haven’t decided yet. I think I’m going to leave it as is for now.. I noticed that when wet, it appears darker, so I decided not to stain it, at least not yet, because if I polish it, it should look OK.
I am very tired.
I have no pets, but tomorrow I’ll try to post a photo of a couple of pets I walk or sit for.
Mr. Max is coming tomorrow morning for a couple hours. I don’t think I’ve posted photos of his shorn self yet. He’s so cute!
Oo! I’d love to see a photo of that! All I can think of is John Belushi in the Killer Bees sketches on SNL.
Is the very high HDL the reason your total cholesterol is high? I hope all is well. My total cholesterol was high one time because I was dehydrated. I had a long walk to the lab, and I didn’t want to have to pee en route, so I was dehydrated.
I meant to respond more, but I’m too tired to think straight, and I just realized I never ate dinner.
