Oh dear, I do hope he recovers quickly and painlessly.
Oh gosh, that would have given me such a sugar rush I would have been cleaning the ceiling fans!
Our fuzzbutts agree. Choices are important!
I still miss real Mexican food.
I just covered our tomatoes because its going to get stoopid cold here too. Hubs moved the lemon tree and the dahlia into the water heater shed for the night and it looks like we will be doing this for the rest of the week. Mother Nature is being a bit of a bitch lately.
So its too late for me to get to everyone, but I really did read and react to everything.
The sad news in this neighborhood is the untimely loss of Harry’s lawnmower. He claims it is untimely because it is only six years old, I think that his mower gets more use in a week than a cemetery groundkeeper’s mower so its not surprising that it just wore out.
Happily, new mowers are on sale for the spring, so Harry borrowed our trailer and went to Lowe’s and got another one.
Harry also planted a tree about 20 feet from our bedroom window. (his side of the fence) Well, that’s not really correct. A couple of his teenaged grands carried a post hole shovel and the tree to the spot, Harry pointed and supervised and the tree went into the ground. I’m really happy about it and need to bake him some more chocolate crinkle cookies tomorrow.
I also have a date for my shoulder surgery and am having second thoughts. Six weeks in a sling is going to be really hard and I might want to kick the can down the road for a few years just because I’m a weenie.
It’s not going to happen until June, I have lots of time to change my mind.
