(Old) Trip Planning in the MMP

I always get along better with many small tasks than I do with one big one…even if the many small tasks are part and parcel of the big task. Plus, having it in your home will allow you to think about where you will put anything you choose to keep.

Good on you for getting the letter done, that sounds like a pretty important task which needed to be done.

I didn’t like the count on a bit I was doing so I changed it on the fly. Of course everything looks off center now and I’m going to have to pull the whole thing out. Was I smart enough to screw up an easy to take apart piece? Oh hell no, it’s going to take twice as long to rip it out as it did to do it.

Very cute!!!

Thanks for the warning, but we have “grown up” with VR. Back in the day, VR rides were big at bike runs and pop-up carnivals. Our first experience was flying an X-wing against the Death Star. We died gloriously with hubs flying and me gunning so the next time I drove and he gunned. The Empire was defeated!!!

We’ve flown fighter jets, winged horses, dragons and space craft. (We once had VR sex which was very…interesting. It wasn’t bad, but we never did it again.) I don’t think a home VR would jerk us around like the rides did, we don’t have the room for that sort of equipment!

I’m sorry, I thought you understood she was talking about colored inks. Inks can be picky and you can’t treat them all the same hence the need for instructions. I think I know enough about stamping to grock first and second generation stamps, I think that means how the ink works when stamped the first time and then the second time without going back to the ink pad.

What wonderful news! Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

It could still be thyroid related but your doctor is going to want to run bloodwork anyhow, so that will be checked as well. Sadly that means fasting bloodwork, but it’s only once a year.

I thought about him too, LOL!!!

I don’t recommend bacon sausage for scotch eggs. The taste was good, but the sausage was horrible to work with and was very greasy.

CG dropped off a couple dozen eggs today and wow, so funny. The two year old chicken is laying eggs too big for reused extra-large egg cartons and the 5 month old ones are laying what looks like bantam eggs. The shells are good though, he wasn’t giving them enough calcium for a while and you could barely pick an egg up without it breaking. I am crediting myself for that, I bring most of my whey to him and the birds love it so happily suck up all of left over calcium for their shells.

I’m currently bringing my cottage cheese up to heat again and it is going wrong. I have NO idea why, cottage cheese is super simple and I make it at least once a month, but something is wrong. I tasted the milk and it is OK, the use by date is weeks in the future, but if the store left it out too long it could be too old to use for cheese now. That happens once in a while and is super annoying, if this batch doesn’t work out, we will have leftovers tomorrow to give me time to go to the dairy and get more milk. Store bought milk has always been good enough for cottage cheese in the past, I guess those days are gone now.
