I have a big batch of oatmeal/raisin/walnut cookies baking. I found the recipe online, and it claims to be the Mrs. Fields version. I don’t know about that, but I do know they’re delicious. They’re absolutely loaded with new crop walnuts, which I toasted in a skillet first before roughly chopping them. These cookies are a favorite of mine and of Mr. brown.
The recipe makes a big batch, so we’ll be in cookie heaven for the next couple of weeks at least.
