There is only one correct sect, and that is the one the person posing the question belongs to.

Police: 30-40 gunshots fired at Tennessee Pastor Greg Locke's Wilson County...
No injuries reported as police investigate
As to the question of “What must you believe to be a Christian?”, it seems the majority of faiths that label themselves as Christian expect belief in some version of either the Nicene Creed or Apostles Creed. But discussion of that probably merits a thread devoted to that very topic.
I wouldn’t hurt a fly.
Ironically, it would seem that the one person who would be disqualified by that is TJ, and he strove to live by the actual things that Jesus said.
Can we get back to Religious Fucks in the News now?
Not even a tsetse fly?
I was quite pleased the day I noticed that the creed was a checklist. It helped me see my atheism clearly and definitively.
He’ll have to sleep on that question before he answers you.
Responding to my own post: Someone fired dozens of rounds into Greg Locke’s home, and parked vehicles, while most of his family was out. At first, I suspected that this too was likely an inside job, until I heard that not only did a round land on his daughter’s bed, but that at least one of his children (various sources are saying 1 or 2) were at home when it happened!
Inside job or not, I hope everyone involved is arrested and prosecuted.
No injuries reported as police investigate
Thank you for saying this
I have to wonder what other “adventures” these two priests got up to when they were younger. They had to have known each other for a long time before this happened, right?
The 60-year-old priest was questioned by the investigating judge and placed under arrest, the prosecutor's office said.
Belgian priest arrested after deadly night of sex and drugs with British cleric - CBS News
My initial reaction upon reading this story was ‘Holy fuck’.
My initial reaction on reading that is, is there something I’m supposed to be offended by here? Cause I can’t quite see what?
Meh, maybe by hypocritical priests who preach against sexual “deviations” like sex out of marriage and homosexuality every Sunday, and then take buttloads of drugs and fuck each other like animals till one of them keels over, like we are all wont to do?
Ah, right, the possibility of hypocrisy. That’s a relief, I thought for a moment that someone was suggesting that getting shitfaced and rutting like pigs was, like, a bad thing! Personally, I think that aspect just made the Church more relatable.
Shame about the dead priest though. No doubt he’ll be missed, but these things happen. Seems a bit heavy handed arresting the other one.

they did things that barnyard pigs would not even consider
Seems a bit heavy handed arresting the other one.
Seems kind of spiteful to me. They didn’t arrest him just on drug charges, they arrested him for drug trafficking resulting in death. This, when the autopsy had as yet no conclusion about the exact cause of death, and it is not stated how they know who supplied the drugs (perhaps he admitted this under questioning, but that is not mentioned).

Well, the thread’s title is “Omnibus Religious Fucks In The News”, and this was clearly a religious fuck…

And it was in the news!
