I’ve found it’s situational. Of course, where race is involved, the right has believed (for generations) that non-whites are crazy rapists going after white women everywhere. But just in general, the idea that women are weak, subservient, and dependent on men could either make them damsels in distress that you need to protect like an egg, or a weak object that only exists to be exploited. Just different shades of misogyny.
