She also did therapeutic massage (which is legit for horses, by the way), chiropractic (the senior vet in the practice I used studied it and had some success with treatments, but it’s more controversial) and acupuncture (which has doubtful efficacy). But observing her describe “succussion” – well, come on, now!

Tearing down flags has a long history within political protest. Tearing down the wrong countries’ flags is just … well … stupid.

The settlement announcement includes a full description of what happened, including the name of the dipshit who ordered the unannounced drill.
Just so we’re clear, Derek Leppek is the name of the asshole who thought it was a good idea to traumatize minor psychiatric patients. And a newspaper article on the story says that he was the “safety coordinator” at the hospital in question.
Yup. And the staff, from the administrator through the care staff right down to the janitors were traumatized. Some of them have quit and are still fucked up from it.
I suppose some will say this was a MIRACLE --coming back from the dead, not medical stupidity.
