Omnibus Trolls R Us Thread

Seems like an excellent system. Thanks to amazing Bitcoin technology, poor people and blacks won’t be able to vote in American elections, but the Russians will.

But not to worry about poor people and blacks, Russians and their American millionaire friends will be able to vote as many times as they like to make up the difference. According to Okra, poor people and blacks can always vote by lining up at the public library, and I can see just how this will work. Thousands of them will line up for hours to use the library’s one and only computer, whereupon the head librarian will eventually emerge to inform them in a heavy Russian accent that the computer is unfortunately out of order. To get the full effect you need to imagine the head librarian bearing a remarkable resemblance in appearance and speech to the Rocky and Bullwinkle character Boris Badinoff.

This is clearly a voting system with many advantages.

I would imagine almost everyone working for PJ hates the son of a bitch as much as they hate the crap he makes. This is either a paid PR guy or, hey, maybe it is Papa John! We should ask him about his house – Mittens says everyone should have a house like that!

This guy looks like someone who would have qualified for the “one and done posters” thread, but he/she has made at least one other post and might or might not stick around (and might or might not become a troll.) But the name hypnotizedseagull is going to seem especially outdated in time if he sticks around.

It’s just been locked, too.

Aaaand, I’m making my official prediction of “death by meltdown” for the seagull. (If he isn’t a returning banned poster, and two or three possibilities come to mind for that.)

Howzabout a 1st post intimating a conspiracy theory w.r.t. the Vegas shootings? After all, it’s just “new” information, just asking questions…

We’ve got a new one in General Questions, who thinks that a Boeing 767 can’t fly fast enough at sea level to crash into a skyscraper hard enough to bring it down.

Maybe Aufgeblassen’s next thread can be Happy Swinging Troll Day…

I suspect we may soon say auf wiedersehen to Aufgeblassen.

Has anyone used the “Report This Post” button to request his banning yet? I’ll happily concede that his troll-itude has not been established. But his crank-itude has, and we don’t need cranks any more than we need trolls.

If not, I’ll be happy to do the honors. The only reason I haven’t already is to avoid duplicated efforts.

Yes.
ETA: the three GQ mods all went offline before he showed up.

He’s gone to GD now.

The more that fool writes, the more I suspect he’s been here before.

I see some ausgehen in his future.

Well, there is a certain banned recently banned poster who was obsessed with 9/11, but I’m thinking that he is too stupid to have come up with this.

Does anyone know of an online tool that accepts samples of prose and determines how likely they are to be the same author?

If so, it might be interesting to gather up a couple thousand words by some of our recent joiners and compare them to a sample of some recent banees’ fine workmanship.

Probably need bigger continuous samples of text to get a meaningful result than you are likely to get.

Eyeballing jay_jay and some of terrorism-obsessed you-know-who’s posts, you-know-who seems to have had a better grasp of capitalization and putting line breaks between paragraphs than jay_jay does.

That’s what he wants you to think.

Yeah, punctuation / capitalization is easy to dumb down. Even I could dumb down my posts that way. It’s the words & sentence structure that’re harder.

For darn sure the larger the sample the better the reliability of any metric of match. I was thinking that if we could at least say “Wow, www.SockChek.com says newbie A writes a lot like banee B. Maybe TBTP ought to eyeball their IP addresses.” that might help our overworked mods to stem the tide.

Then again, there’s a large and ever-replenishing tide of friggin idjits out there. And Google sends us a fresh batch every day.

Okay, jay_jay’s imperviousness to facts and his incompetence in math is now making me wonder what Man Trap Hilter thinks about 9/11…

He has an odd obsession with the phrases “like a hot knife through butter” and “64% of the acceleration of gravity”. I’m kinda wondering where he got that last figure from from.

I’m also wondering about “power required to move a body through air increases exponentially as the speed increases linearly”. No one’s said this isn’t true, and I don’t remember enough physics, especially as applied to the aerodynamics of airplane flight, to tell if this is true or not. My gut says no, but my gut’s been out of sorts lately and could be wrong.

Still, seems to me he’s completely off his trolley.
