So I want to apologize to Beckdawreck (sp?). I might have been a bit harsh against you, I’m kinda jaded. Sorry.

Don’t feel bad, there’s a little of that in all of us. I recently had my Victoria’s Secret chain removed from Pyongyang (google maps). It was there for 2 weeks though. I did it for His greatness, the Magnificent Marshall, Little Kim Jung Illness.
Has anyone every been suspended only a few days after joining before? That seems odd.
Just a week or two ago, SarahWitch was suspended in less than two days, came back 3 days later and was gone within a day after that. Not too long ago, the 911CT guy, Jay_Jay was suspended after a few days, but he has been fairly quiet since and, I think is still a member.
Yes, I think it was like 12 hours? Someone will remember.

His profile says “Member.” I don’t believe he paid for a subscription. I believe I read that’s what your status reverts to when you’re banned, but the mods haven’t actually applied the label.
I don’t much care if he stays or goes, I don’t see much future for him here. Certainly he has nowhere near the humor potential that our redneck oil-rig worker so brilliantly exhibited. He only lasted for one post, but oh, how brightly burned that fleeting flame. He frothed with righteous indignation about all things LGBT, and then as a parting gift he forever enriched our language with the word “plack”. This new one, the P-stain, is more of a common moron. True, he gave us “synchophant”, but that doesn’t even come close to the linguistic snap and crackle of “plack”. No, I don’t think this new one is worth keeping. If it had been bought from a pet store, I’d be taking it back, with some stern words for the proprietor.
The word is “sycophant”. Only one “h” and one “n”.

I don’t understand why TPTB are expending so much effort to keep someone who’s here for one reason: To bully a member. He’s not here to participate in anything else.
I believe he’s been banned, he just hasn’t had the label applied. His profile says “Member,” but a mod actually has to apply the “BANNED” label. Otherwise, it automatically defaults to “Member,” but it’s not like he paid for a subscription. If his suspension were lifted, he’d be back to being a guest. I’ll PM a mod and get some clarification.
Get suspended, come back as a member, get suspended twice, come back as a Charter member. 3x and you’re a mod?
Also, yeah, you do get instabanned if you threaten legal action like PCarolinus did.
