Every now and then madsircool will get a bug up his ass and let loose on his fellow posters for not being as cool as he is.
He’s like that one guy in your circle of acquaintances that just has to cut loose with an angry remark toward someone at the table when they vent about something.
Our resident religionist – he with the direct line to God – is not getting any action on his complaint in ATMB and wants to know if there is a higher authority he can appeal to. Yes, yes, there is. I’m surprised he doesn’t know it. It took all my willpower to click away from that.
No doubt. He’s new, he’s young, and his ideas are younger still, still baking in the oven, as it were, what we boring old-timers like to describe as “half-baked”. Or sometimes we’ll refer to them as jejune, puerile, or imbecilic. I deny, however, that I’m trying to drive the yung’uns away, as long as they stay off my lawn. The ones I have my suspicions of, as demonstrated by the dialog between that pair, are posters whose user names begin with “mad”. It appears to be meant quite literally.
Well asking god had already been suggested. And was suggested again.
Nice how the prophecy came with a standard cop out built in.
A cop-out that I suggested more than a year ago and the sarcasm flew so far over his head that they had to move the ISS.

In fairly certain he is drunk and/or has dementia. He posted that stuff after midnight.
Well, he just got a warning and a 24 hour suspension for doing it again.
Based on previous threads, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that he’s dealing with some cognitive issues due to aging. Or he could be just a racist jerk. But either way, I don’t think he’s a troll.
I don’t think he is either. I think he’s just a racist old man who can’t let it go.
I don’t know enough about him to judge his mental state.

We have a few people who are over 70. Most of them seem fairly rational.

Dadgummit, whadda you young’uns know about rations anyways? You can just walk down to the Wellby’s Super Drugs and buy howevers many Clark Bars you can fit in your baggy trousers. During the big one, we broke our Zagnuts into eight pieces, one fer each day and an extra nibble on Saturday.
And don’t think we can’t tell your religion at a glance! Why, a SeniorCitizen I know can take the pensioner’s bus to your housing office, walk in and know whether you’re a Mu·hammadan or a Zorro-astrian just by the cut o’ yer jib…
I know that those Hee-broos cut their jibs, but I don’t go out of my way to look.

Too early to tell, but this new poster MAY fall into the bucket of starting posts just to gather information about Dopers.
