I’m right with you on writing this person off for the standing-up thing. I can’t tolerate lateness; standing me up is the kiss of death for a relationship. And attitude afterwards? Holy crap, that’s a lot of nerve. I believe that it is a show of respect to other people to show up at an agreed-upon time, and people that show up late are showing their disrespect for me. People who don’t show up at all obviously have no respect for me, and I would have no respect for myself if I accepted that kind of behaviour.
Demise, just my opinion, of course, but this woman sounds like an incredible loser. It looks like it’s all about her, and always will be. But I’m sure you figured that out already. Just hang up on her next time she calls.

FOB = “Fresh Off the Boat,” a term referring to the just-immigrated, usually heard in reference to Asians.
And I will certainly allow for lateness - heaven knows I’m late a LOT, which is why I got my cell phone to keep people updated as to how late I’m going to be. So lateness I can forgive; not showing up at all and/or not calling I cannot.
