That’s a classic. I love the guy in the Cowboys hat laughing his ass off at the Jets fans when they draft that Fullback, Vick.
I also like to see the crying. For some reason, watching soon-to-be milionaires cry makes me giggle inside.
I’m a dick like that, though.
ETA: Omni, I’ll admit it. I watch that video two to three times a year. It makes me feel better as a Lions fan.
C’mon man, he’s Joe Flacco. His jizz could probably throw for 300 yards and 4 tds AND change colors and flavors.
Only if you promise to share them with Rex Grossman. He needs a little bit of love.
So what you’re saying is, if the Bears manage to draft him he’s screwed? Figures…
Damn, I feel bad for his agent. This type of talent needs to be marketed but I’m not sure I want to be in those discussions.
Saints trade up for Ellis?
First trade, exciting! Sedrick Ellis, what did the Patriots get?
Joe Flacco’s used shower sandals?
To the Saints. So far, after the Long/Dorsey decision, this draft has been the most predictable I can ever remember. Strange since the Mock drafts all season were so damn varied.
ETA: Hmm, who the heck are the Jags so eager to get here? Weird. I bet the Ravens plan to draft Flacco with that 26th pick. The Bears better try and get a 2nd 1st rounder in front of them or else take him with the 14th pick.
Firsy surprise here, Jacksonville moving up to trade with Baltimore. I didn’t hear anything about this.
So much for my theory about there not being enough time for trades.
Jax makes another one.
Did the Jags just move up too?
Well, so much for that. The Ravens trade their pick. Now Derrick Harvey goes early? You know, if the Bears don’t take Flacco, the Ravens might. The Bears might take him or Henne, whoever’s left.
The Jags moved up quite a bit, probably going to be expensive.
I bet the Ravens traded down, not the Jags trading up. That’s why the Jags are taking time to make the pick.
I like the idea of rebuilding with quantity over quality. It’s so hard to predict who will be a bust, why not throw numbers at it? That way, you have more potential places to grow and get better, and it’s probably cheaper overall. You have just as good a chance to get a stud in the mid first and second as you do in the early first, I bet. I think Baltimore is making a good move here, assuming they get an extra pick or two.
Keith Rivers is celebrating.
Looks like Cincy took Rivers. Good pick for them. And the fact that no team has taken an OT after Jake Long helps the Bears.
ETA: My stress level is going to go through the roof when the Broncos are on the clock.
I’m a Gator alumni, and I like the Jags, but is Harvey so good he’s worth trading halfway up the 1st round for? I say that not really seeing too many superstar names in any mock drafts.
Is he supposed to be wearing that hat before he’s actually been drafted? WHy are the Bengals waiting to pick him?
