one of my dogs - photo

Well, this is indeed mundane and pointless to probably everyone but myself, however I am putting some photos in an online album, and since so many have shared photos of their pets, I would like to share one of my favorite photos of one of my favorite dogs. This is Mojo’s Come What May, call name Satine, but more affectionately known as Teeny Weeny Baby Beanie. She is one of my breeding, and is pet quality, but she is such a sweetie I kept her for myself. With a full tummy she might tip the scale at 4 lbs! She sits up and “claps” her front paws, and is an all around joy in my life!

Not my type of dog - prefer bigger, manlier ones myself - but she looks very alert and curious, always a good trait in a pet (or a person, come to that). Is that Alaskan grass? What a beautiful, verdant colour! And a terrific wild flower too.

She’s awfully cute! What silky-looking fur she has.

I grew up with big dogs and never thought I’d like little dogs until my sister took in a severely neglected toy (or maybe teacup) poodle. That dog is just the bees’ knees. And he’s so convenient! My sister takes him everywhere. She’s flown all over the country with him. She takes him to work sometimes - just pops him in her large purse. A walk takes no time because a block or two is “miles” to him.

Big dogs are great but they are a lot more work. It’s kind of like Big Dogs:Little Dogs::Dogs (all dogs):cats. (Did I do my analogy-thingies right??)

Well give her a pat for me!

That smiley is not supposed to be in there!

I always had large breeds before I became a gimp, but I have always liked the Pomeranian, and they are of a size I am able to handle. She is very alert, bright and inquisitive. Her other nickname is Chainsaw, as she regularly kicks all the other pet’s butts in the household, including our big (20 lb) male cat! (She doesn’t know it, but they all tolerate her because she is the “baby”!

Yes, that is Alaska grass, we are not nicknamed the Emerald Isle for nothing! The forget-me-nots (Alaska’s State Flower) were in my garden bed, but this clump jumped the borders and was smack dab in the middle of the yard!

Thanks missbunny Satine is what a disreputable breeder would lable as a “teacup” and sell for lots of $$$. She is just the smallest out of a litter of four, and the AKC standard for Poms is between four and seven pounds. Satine has a huge, correct coat, but she is far to small to safely breed, so she is my little buddy, and travels with me everywhere! She accepted your pat and sends you a snuggle!
