100 posts and no new cars yet? Hmmmph!
Baby sandals. My daughter’s going to be wearing size 4 baby shoes this summer and I intend to take her to the public pool a lot, so she needed a pair of those cheap waterproof sandals (like flipflops, but with straps to keep them on).
Old Navy/Gap only makes those sandals in size 5 and up. Happily, my mom and I went to the outlet mall where I found out that OshKosh/Carters does an XS 3-4 version. So my daughter has sandals. Yay.
Bored yet?
(Really Thursday - I missed midnight.)
100 Prize-Winning Recipes - the results of the third annual Pillsbury Bake-off. The price on the cover was $.25, and I paid the same at an estate sale we visited today.
A binding machine and a few hundred index tabs.
I bought a lamb gyro with that yogurt sauce I can’t spell. It was from a little Greek joint near my office I have been meaning to try out. It was really good and I think I will go back tomorrow and try something else like those little cheese wrap things.
I bought this new bass amp today.
I actually tried to buy a car today but they traded it to another dealership (last night) before I got there today and nobody else has it in stock. Harrumph!
A Diet Coke.
A whole chicken to make chicken & dumpling on Sunday.
Another thumbs-up for this one! I saw him at the Cleveland Music Hall. Just a few weeks ago bought a Vinegar Joe CD from the independent music store near me!
Dinner out for myself and my parents
A Duane Reade brand swiffer (I don’t know how else to refer to that object aside from the brand name of the original) starter kit and some wet refills.
Mom is still here, more baby shopping–one of those fake sherpa coats from Old Navy, size 3T, marked down from $39.95 to $9.95.
m&m “rice krispy” tray for sharing at the office.
Designer pasta: capsicum, spinach, chia and chives. From the local farmers market.
Girl Scout cookies.
Back off, they’re mine!
“Hatch” brand green chile enchilada sauce. I’ve always heard that Hatch, New Mexico grows terrific green chiles, and tonight’s chicken enchilada dinner will prove or disprove that claim.
A Yamaha Clavinova 430 electronic piano.
A Toshiba Thrive.
A bike rack and a saddlebag for my bike.
