Here’s a question I don’t recall the answer to.
Is Haley aware in stone form? Is she going to hold that promise over Elan’s head at some point? Or is Elan just working off some post-smooching guilt?

Elan doesn’t believe in lying to or keeping secrets from Haley. When she’s re-animated, he’ll tell her what happened and what he said.
DID Elan lose those levels, then, or is a succubus’s kiss something the succubus has to actually consciously initiate, and if they’re taken by surprise like that, they might just totally forget to?
He had the black energy halo around him, so I’m assuming that the kiss was effective. I’m not sure if one long, lingering kiss has the same effect as several shorter ones, or if Elan only got burned for one level on his escape plan.
One negative level per kiss or “act of passion”. Duration doesn’t enter the equation, though she could have gotten an attack of opportunity from Elan’s tongue grappling check. Possibly a bite attack 
Technically, he hasn’t lost any levels yet: He’s gained negative levels. Right now, he has a broad assortment of penalties, but can be fixed up completely by a single casting of a Restoration spell (Durkon probably has one or two of those prepared). If for some reason he can’t get that, then in 24 hours he’ll have to make a Fort save for each negative level. If he makes it, he’s fine, and if he doesn’t, then he actually loses a level. If it comes to that, he’ll need one Restoration spell per lost level to get them back, and that only within a number of days equal to the caster’s level.
And on a less nerdy note, it speaks very well to Elan’s skill as a kisser that he’s able to impress even a succubus.
Which’ll probably make the next “Sneak Attack, BITCH!” all the more satisfying for her.
How many times is she kissed voluntarily? Elan’s got great Charisma, and we all know that he’s quite nimble with his hands. She probably doesn’t get all that many voluntary smooches.
Belkar is supposedly quite a smoocher, too. Maybe he could try it next.
I got the impression that it wasn’t so much that Belkar was that good with his lips, as that Jenny just really, really digs “bad boys”.
And Sabine probably doesn’t get very many informed consensual kisses, but she often takes on other forms, often very sexy ones, and it’s part of a succubus’ job description to seduce folks. I’m sure there have been plenty of guys (and ladies) who have been very willing and eager to kiss her, through not knowing the consequences.
Yeah, I’m disappointed too.
