I just want to add that it’s inevitable, the Oscars being what they are, that March of the Penguins will win best feature doc. But I will still cry when *Murderball *loses.

By the way, if I do happen to win…Sacheen Littlefeather will be picking up my award.

When she is speaking, I will be streaking.

Please don’t mock my short-comings.

OK, then. I’ll one-up you by outing my high-school acting teacher during my acceptance speech! (You know…the one Sacheen will be doing in my place!)

Well, then I will come back on stage after streaking and stand behind you (even though you aren’t there) with the words SOY BOMB written on my chest. (hopefully this will distract attention from my short comings!)

(Yeah…I sprinkled a little Grammies on your ass!)

Is anyone planning on doing an Oscar simulcast post thread? If not, I will open one up around 7:30pm so we can post along with the show. It’ll be just like watching it with other people ( lame, I know, but I don’t know anyone else who is masochist enough to wantsto watch it with me until midnight on a Sunday).

I only voted in categories where I’d seen all or most of the films (unlike many members of the Academy).

Oh, by the way, an easier way to do this contest is to do it through Yahoo!, though since I didn’t take the initiative, who am I to complain? Thanks a ton, lissener; I love this contest.

Here’s mine, though I haven’t seen a single movie up for nomination. They should hold the Academy Awards exactly one month after the last film comes out on DVD, cuz I’m too damn old to sit in a movie theater for three hours so that perfect strangers can cough in my hair, kick my seat, and pop their gum while chatting on their cell phones.

The pool closes at showtime! You guys have about a half hour!

And the pool is closed!

I’ll post results when I damn well get around to it. Unless someone else gets around to it first . . .

Well I’m already 0 for 3.

I got all but three, those three being Short Doc., Cinematography, and BEST PICTURE!!!

Best year ever for me, though perhaps someone beat me.

I can’t believe Crash won. Good for them.

I was so surprised Crash won!
