I am totally digging pandora! Thanks!

I got turned on to Pandora just a couple of weeks ago by Mr. Random.

I’m putting together the sweetest Americana station ever! They’re playing some Blue Highway right now. You made my night.

Also, the BBC’s website - bbc.co.uk - is just brilliant.

You can thumb through the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, which has four encyclopedia categories…Life, The Universe, Everything, and All About h2g2. There are all sorts of fascinating entries in this site.

For a monumental time sucker, I recommend Nethack.

You might want to adjust your resolution downwards, as the game window and the text can be quite small at higher resolutions.

I am going to offer up http://www.stripcreator.com/comics/smamurai/330373

You can make your own comics strips from the hundreds of backgrounds and characters available. That link takes you to one of mine btw.

www.nextgenstudios.com is great for a blast. Stick Arena is just awesome fun.

A collection of links to videos, games, interesting websites… Lots and lots of random stuff. A few examples:

a website on how to make cardboard castles
a guy writes strange letters to companies and posts the results on his website
a guy plays Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody by squeezing air through his hands
a collection of the “strangest photos of 2006”
American, Nazi and Soviet propaganda posters

picked from the first four pages. There are at least 50 pages.

www.in4mador.com is a similar page of interesting links.

I am so trying out pandora.com when I get home.

This place has a number of SDMB posters. Really friendly, but not very fast paced.

A fantastic site with links to head-exploding projects on the borderline between science and art:

Proceedings of the Athanasius Kircher Society

(Warning: If you’re a science- and art-nerd like me, you will not be able to leave this site until you’ve read every single thing on it.)

Worth1000 is a great site for seeing some of the best Photoshopped pictures around. These people are incredible.
