Dmark, you seem to be confusing a tv show with reality. It’s perfectly true that people who congradulate a new mod get a free year subscription to the SDMB :stuck_out_tongue: , but the toaster thing isn’t. It was an urban myth that came from an episode of Ellen. It states that for every heterosexual you convert to the other tream, you get a free toaster. Much to my chargrin, I found that it is not true. :frowning:
