Can we use asnything another poster has said for our sig?
I’ve noticed people asking others if they can use that as their sig?
Cause I really though it was almost poetic when Coldfire posted in “his” pit thread, “and now I am a NAzi with a dead hamster up my arse.”
Its clever and rolls off your tongue quite well.
Just curious, so don’t flame me!
Common courtesy dictates that you do indeed ask the poster in question if they mind.
And in this case, I’d rather not see that particular sentence turn up in all fora. I do appreciate the compliment, but I don’t think it’s family-friendly enough for, say, MPSIMS.
And of course, copyright requires full recognition of the source.
(Whenever I assume that everyone knows this, I’m unpleasantly surprised. . .)
Ahem.
By posting on this board you grant the Chicago Reader, Inc., and its successors and assigns a nonexclusive irrevocable right to re-use your posting in any manner it or they see fit without notice or compensation to you.
Well, the Administration can use whatever sig they want, or so it seems.
(Otherwise, you’re technically right. Although I’d be surprised to see a lawsuit over a sig line, in all honesty. Then again, I’m not American. :p)
As usual, you are right Coldie.
But you are kindof peotic sometimes…
guess I’m stuck with my usual sig…
I wonder if thats a real word; peotic.
I meant, poetic of course.
But you ARE kindof peotic too.
Coldfire, can I use this?
No, seriously.
That one? Go right ahead.
While we’re disecting Coldy’s posts for sigs…
Can I have the one about your multi-thousand-mile long penis?
Only when you use metric.
Okay. Thats the one I want then.
“Only if you use metric”. Okay, Coldie?
That’s not what I said.
I hope I have Anniz’s permission for my new sig.
Yes.
