At Christmas we usually visit some old friends of ours. They’re big fans of anime, and while we converse they shut off the TV or internet, but their screen saver is a wonderfully bizarre collection of artwork they’ve gathered or that friends have made, along with screenshots from anime. Many of these have quotes that, out of context, are really, really bizarre.
This year we couldn’t visit because of COVID, but I looked up some out-of-context anime quotes, to get the same nostalgic feel.
