I don’t get many zits like I used to-but when I get one, it’s usually a big motherfucker.
This is no exception. It’s a big, blind pimple. On my freaking EAR!
And it hurts, oh dear GOD, does it HURT! I can’t see in the mirror to pop it, because of where it’s at. Picking at it hurts like hell, (more so than trying to pop it, imagine that!)
What is the DEAL with you, Zit? It’s bad enough you mar my complexion. Do you have to cause me PAIN as well? DIE, evil Blemish, DIE!!!

Can you get tea-tree oil where you are? It’s popular here and it works wonders. There’s a Blackmore’s brand face wash that I use regularly, and there’s a specific pimple gel.
I used to get those huge things now and then. I like to think of them as “boils”; “pimples” just seems too genteel for the bastards.
I have one ust outside my ear. I want it to go away, it’s been there for a few days.
I had one on my earlobe once, and I could still feel it inside for about two years. I don’t know if zits leave inner scar tissue or what, but it was pretty disconcerting for a while.
I had one on my earlobe once and when I popped it, it became infected. For the next two months, I had a scab there that I had to pick at every once in a while so it wouldn’t get all nasty and pussy. [as in full of pus, you freaks] and I also had the lump in my earlobe, as Hauky mentioned.
Right now, I’m fighting one on my upper lip that bleeds when I pop it. God, I hate my skin.

Try to pop it with a pin. Alternately, van Gogh was able to successfully remove his ear, it bugged him so bad. Didn’t even complain much about the pain.
What iampunha said … find a needle, grit your teeth, pop that sucker, find the infamous gross zit thread that’s floating around somewhere, and comment about the quantity, color, testure and consistency of the pus.

Actually, after reading your post I felt my earlobe again and discovered that the little lump in there has gone. I have no idea when that happened. It was there for a couple of years, but I kind of forgot about it.
Sterilize the needle, clean with alcohol, no matter how much it hurts.
You do NOT want an infection that close to your brain.
If you can’t find a “drawing salve” at the pharmacy, at least use a hot wet tea bag. The tannins draw infection to the surface, as does the heat.
The ones I really hate are the nose zits. They pop up just inside my nose on occasion. OW!
Ha, I have a zit right under my nose. When I woke up this morning, it had come to a head. I carefully poked it with a pin, and gently squeezed it. A little bit of the gooey zit-pus came out.
A couple of hours later, when I was at work, it started to hurt again. I went to the bathroom only to discover that it had come to a head again. So I gave it a squeeze, and the same thing happened.
So now I am wondering, will it all explode at one, or am I going to have to carefully milk it to the last drop?
