So are Jayjay and I. I grabbed a bunch of coupons for $4 off a regular admission, and free child’s admission with the purchase of a regular admission. The “buy one get one free” coupons are only good for select weekends. If anyone wants me to mail coupons to them, just drop me a line at my email.

I’m still interested, and I will be there unless some sort of family emergency intervenes (I have a parent scheduled for surgery that should be at the end of october, but it may be moved up)

I’m in. And as someone who’s worked the Faires all over the country throughout my life, I have many costumes I could lend, as well. This year will be #24 at the NY Sterling Forest Faire.
Strange thing is… with all the Faires I’ve done, I’ve never been to the PA one! I hear it’s wonderful.
Your mom. We just got a sofabed as well as the spare room and the futon, so none of the kids get hung out on the clothes line overnight. This time.

For those of us near Plymouth Meeting, I found that the Plymouth Township Community Center sells Ren Faire tickets at about $6 below the regular gate price.
Very good news! It’s on my calendar, so long as I’m still in town then.
If it’s Saturday, I can’t make it. I’ve got a game to cover.

It seems like Saturday was generally favored over Sunday, so I do think that’s what we’re going with. Although I’d be happy to go both days if someone wants me to put me up for the night 
(yes it’s probably the same driving distance for most of y’all that it is for me, but if I’m gonna make a weekend out of it, I’d want to make a serious weekend out of it!)
For now, though, looks like the plan is Saturday Oct. 1st. We’ll miss you, Robyn (and the chance to see Aaron in lederhosen – we need pictures of that, I think!).

I thought only gay knights went bump in the knight. 
They are the ones who are really enthusiastic with their lances.
As frightened as I am by the preceeding comments I’m still planning on attending (baring any medical issues with my parents, whom I care for).
Are we still planning on meeting up at the fron gate? If so, might I suggest meeting at the smaller fountain in the flower garden to the left of the main gate (beside the mansion). It’s very visible and easy to find, but out of the way of the large random crowd that will be milling about the main gate / large fountain area. It may make it easier to locate one another
(although I have met Scuba_Ben and Danceswithcats before, I’m short, and finding people in crowds is always a worry for me)

For whoever’s making up the roster – I’m a “no,” I’m afraid. More money than I want to spend.
I somehow missed the last bump… I am still planning on being there, of course. I don’t quite recall where that fountain is but I’m sure I’ll find it. I’ll be the large brunette in a corset… er, wait, that might not help.
So, Ben is showing up at 9:45, is that when everyone else will be there too? Because while I’m sure it’s possible for me to have my arse out of bed and on the road by quarter of 8, I doubt I’ll be very chipper at that hour. I’d love to have a slightly later meeting time, say 10:30 or so, at some other location inside (so y’all don’t have to wait around outside on my account)- if anyone else is a non-early-riser like me. But, like I said, I’m willing to hie my butt there early if required.
OK, how does this sound: Early shift meets at 9:45 at the fountain, for the opening of the gates. Regular shift meets around 10:45, in the Boar’s Head Inn. The Tartan Terrors are appearing at 11 on the Inn’s stage.
Since October is a little too chilly for my Renn Faire tee shirt, I’ll be wearing my pirate costume. (Even though it’s not the pirate weekend.)
