I’d like to say I’ll make the 9:45 grouping… but if If I want to stay until the end, the 10:45 group is probably better for me.
(I have a dog that will need to be let out at some point… he crosses his legs pretty well, but the finale hasn’t been letting out much before 7:45/8 o’clock, and with a 90 minute drive home, that’s a long day.)

Up-hill or down-hill side of the boar’s head?
For those who haven’t been to the PA faire before, the boar’s head stage is straight down the main street from the gate (and I do mean down, it’s a pretty steep hill). It inclued a brown and white two story tudor style “Inn” as part of the backdrop for the stage. It’s pretty hard to miss.
Oh, and discounted tickets are available online, from the faire’s website.
I would recommend to at least consider ordering online for anyone who is definately planning to attend. The tickets are cheaper, and you can skip the lines and go right in.
In my past expereince they seem to have the tickets in the mail the following business day, so there is still time.
The online tickets are not date specific, they can be used any faire day.
But of course for an outing like this one, weather is still a concern.
Jayjay and I should be able to make the 10:45 grouping. I have to work that morning, and we will head there right after I am done. Looking forward to seeing all of you there!

Is it too late for me to get in on this? I still have to arrange for my ticket, (although I may bite the bullet and pay full price). Also, to arrange for a vehicle, as I can’t assume the one I’m borrowing for work will be available for gallivanting. But assuming the Faire gods are on my side, I could make it. I’d like to. I know I mostly lurk, but what could be better than a Ren Faire with Dopers? My two favorite things!

I am confused as to how I would use your discount coupon if you are already inside the faire to meet. That’s why I asked about the fountain. Obviously since you would be doing me a favor I would arrive at the faire before your expected arrival, but how would I know you? I unfortunately am unable to come costumed. Living out of a suitcase, (ok 2 suitcases) does not encourage one to bring faire gear.
