My ticket has been sitting cheerfully in a big ol’ pile of mail since last Friday. I’m still trying to figure out what skirt and boots will go best with my corset, though. Or maybe I should wear pants… hmm. Ah, well, I’ll figure it out. I’m excited.

Ben, if I can get my lazy self out of bed on time, I may actually make it there by 9:45. My parents have offered to play with/spoil their grand-dog for the day, so I am no longer constrained by the doggie’s requirements.

My faire costume has a mostly green overdress, and I’ll try to remember to leave my hair down since it does make me easier to spot.

All systems are go for me tomorrow. I’m aiming to be there by 10:45. Will Supervenusfreak have a rose between her(?) teeth for recognition? I’ll be wearing a white top with blue embroidery around the neckline. Longish dark hair if that helps any. It’s not all that big a deal if I pay full price, but discounts are always nice. So thanks!

I knew I was taking a chance, but I figure 50/50 is good odds. And I certainly think anyone called Supervenusfreak can pull off a rose. And I don’t recommend giggling like a freaking maniac in an office or cubicle. It gives you a bad reputation. Of course, if I was trying to get people to leave me alone while at work, that would certainly be a method worth exploring.
Don’t worry… I should think Twick’s coworkers would be used to the giggling by now

A very nice day seeing performances, lovely ladies, the occasional odd costumes and laughing at stupid human tricks. The group of us were enjoying a bit a shade and a cold drink while discussing a few recent threads. A somewhat inebriated gent who’d plopped down at our table overheard the word “Doper” and spoke right up to share his smoking herb with us. Kind though his offer was, we declined and headed over to the pirate auction. Not being greatly interested in their collection of scimitars, the wench in a blue velvet dress caught my eye, but sadly, she was not offered for auction. Darn my bad luck

Yes it certainly was! So sorry we missed you there Gillian. I did miss the rose bit, but not much else. Certainly not the lusty pirates for sure! Jayjay and I really enjoyed ourselves, although we did have to cut it short. The only thing I did miss was taking a picture with danceswithcats.
The bawdy shows were a hoot too! Loved every minute of it.
