If I ever do return full time to the political fray here on the SDMB, those two are going on my ignore list. Admittedly, that would still leave this thread unreadable, as the majority of the posters here are, for reasons of their own, engaging one or the other of the two dunces, but it would take me a much shorter time to make the attempt.

After all, look at all the times that the media outlets you’ve listed have either implied or stated outright “Look how stupid and backwards Palin and her family are”. I mean, they’re constantly doing this right? Or do you need to be wearing special glasses to see the coded messages?
Well, take a look at Fox’s figures and then think about how much of the population they represent vs. how much everyone else reaches on a daily basis. If Fox reaches 2 million people a day, that’s only one out of every 150 people in the country, based on a population of 300 million people. Then consider that the number that represents is fairly static - they will be roughly the same 2 million people each day.
Then look at how much of the population is reached by all of the other outlets I mentioned. It will be almost everyone, including the 2 million watching Fox. Their influence is subtle and insideous and they have been using it to pro-liberal and anti-conservative viewpoints for decades.
So even though Fox may be trouncing CNN or some other individual outlet, and even though it’s message may more aggressive, that doesn’t mean that Fox isn’t far outweighed in terms of the number of people it reaches or the cumulative effect of decades of pro-liberal MSM influence.

It’s certainly possible that my sense of superiority is smug, but it’s not unwarranted. I do not allow my political beliefs or predelictions to blind me to reality, and that makes me, in my opinion, superior to those whose sense of correctness blinds them to facts – regardless of whether their political views side with mine. There are blind pigs on both sides, and I’ve named two of them.
If you don’t care for my opinion, there are any number of places on the Internet where you will not be forced to read my posts.
I can’t imagine a producer buying into those terms. I think even she’s smart enough to know that. Or at least her agent should be.

To be fair, I think Starving Artist honestly believes that having hard-hitting journalists such as Katie Couric ask trick questions like “Which newspapers do you read” constitutes an attack.
Well, it’s clear that bitchy Couric was just showin’ off her literacy, what with all her questions about fancy newspapers and magazines and book learnin’ stuff.
How about Sarah Palin stops hiding the Canadian birth certificate of Trig. Yeah, people claiming to have witnessed Trig’s birth are part of the he’s an American conspiracy that is starting so that he will be able to run for President when I’m in my early 80s. The fact is that Trig is a secret Kenyan. They need to produce a birth certificate showing who the mommy and daddy are and place of birth, and not a certified copy of the birth certificate, but the original. Nayh, nayh, nayh.
Anyway, she was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno a few days back and was treated fawningly by Leno, a longtime (shudder) Democrat. She will be stabbed in the back worse on Fox by their other jealous “broadcasters”.
