When I attended Texas Tech, it actually was a college; it hadn’t hit University status back then. Anyway, IIRC, Texas Tech had a world renown (?) or at least second-to-none Textiles Department, maybe because that part of Texas was heavy in cotton production. I’m old and I ramble and my memory has become a fading memory.
