Pandemic Haiku, Anyone?

I wrote this back in March, 10 days into quarantine…

Ten days into this
The awful uncertainty
Is it over yet?

This one a few weeks later…

Light breeze stops blowing
The world is holding its breath
Pause between seasons

More recent…

A minute ticks by
Or maybe it was a day
It’s so hard to tell

Last but not least…

Autumn leaves falling
Soon the winter will arrive
And perhaps the spring?

Bumping, ‘cause I want more!

Wore a dirty mask
And now my face smells like feet
Damned Covid-19

More freedom with Spring,
shops open and able to travel
still working from home …

Pandemic haiku

Follow CDC guidelines

Socially distanced

Bumping, so a better Doper poet than me can give us a White House-related haiku!

In the dark kitchen
The cabinet door creaks open
Damn! out of vodka

Bad bad bad bad bad
Bad bad bad bad bad bad bad
Bad bad bad bad Good

Roses felled in summer disdain
Intrude, delude, say not her name
Ruthless seeds breathless fate

They said: Reopen
We were so very Happy
How very Foolish

Here is the first Covid Haiku thread:

Lovely!
